The last two days I've been in a workshop at Georgia State. We discussed with David Shoemaker his manuscript, Responsibility from the Margins. It's rich with theoretical insight and informative discussion of problem cases involving such things as autism, Tourrette syndrome, and psychopathy. Dave plans to complete revisions soon. Look for it!
The workshop was one in a series hosted by the Jean Blumenfeld Center for Ethics at Georgia State. Thanks to folks at Georgia State for putting together a terrific meeting.
I'll get back with a new post tomorrow.
Thanks indeed to those good folks at Georgia St., as well as to all the participants, for their insightful challenges and constructive criticisms. I learned a ton and had a great time. It should make the manuscript much better. Participants included Randy, Eddy Nahmias, Nicole Vincent, Angie Smith, Jeanette Kennett, Stephen Kearns, and Katrina Sifferd, among several others. And thanks for the shout-out, Randy!
