There sure should be!

I am currently working on a series of experiments related to animal ethics for the Experiment Month initiative, which I introduce (sorry for the self-citation, but I take it to be the intended spirit of this thread) in the paper I wrote (in French, sorry) for the recent issue of KLESIS on X-Phi (see previous post on this blog).

And though it's not focused on the environment, there's quite a deal of research on moral status attributions that might be of interest to environmental ethicists and which helped me a lot while writing this paper, especially work by Gray, Wegner, Waytz, Young, and colleagues in various articles, Sytsma and Machery (2012), and Huebner (2010).
